  • A copy of your group's constitution or governing document
  • A copy of your most recent annual accounts (or current financial statement if your organisation has been operating for less than 1 year)
  • A copy of your equal opportunities policy/ statement
  • A copy of a recent (dated within the last three months) bank statement
  • A copy of relevant safeguarding policies/procedures

You only need to provide copies of the above where a change has been made to them. For example:

  • your constitution has been updated
  • a policy has been reviewed,
  • a new set of annual accounts has been produced
  • you are using a new bank account or we have not received a bank statement from you in the last 12 months 

 


If your project involves capital costs or the purchase of training/external services you may need to provide:

  • Copies of quotes, estimates or other evidence of costs if applying for funds to pay for equipment, building works, training or external services (eg. web design)
  • Evidence that planning permission/ other relevant permissions are in place

Explain why this development is right for you at this stage and what you aim to achieve as a result. Also explain what your main funding need is - for example - to continue to fund core costs, to fund an expansion of services, to be less reliant on a particular source of funding, raise funds for a capital project.







For 2, explain how long they have held a role that involves fundraising (both in your organisation and in any previous employment) and any formal training they have received in fundraising. Priority will be given to groups with a relatively new fundraiser who has been in post for less than two years.


We want to see that the fundraiser will receive appropriate support both from the line manager and from the wider organisation - including the trustee board. For example, being allowed the necessary time to attend the training.
