Provide the name of your organisation as it appears on any governing documents

If your organisation operates under another name, please provide that as well.
Address of your organisation
This should be the address of the organisation. If the organisation doesn't have an independent location you can use the contact details of the primary contact.

These are the details that will be used for correspondence regarding this application.

The contact person should be someone who has a good knowledge of the application as this is the person we will contact if we have any queries.

We may need to contact you to discuss the application - please provide a telephone number where we can reach you during office hours

Address of main contact

Please provide details for a second contact who is willing to be contacted regarding this application if the main contact cannot be reached.

Please estimate if exact date is not known.

Please select as many as appropriate, and enter registration number/s where prompted.

Please do not simply copy the aims and objectives from your constitution. Please tell us briefly and in your own words what your organisation was set up to do, and what your main activities are.

How many of each of the following are involved in the organisation? Your group must have a management committee/governing body comprising a minimum of three unconnected people.

Please complete the questions below without including £ or commas in your figures (e.g. 1000 not £1,000)

£
Please provide the organisation's total income in the last complete financial year - this will be checked against the annual accounts provided. Please note total income includes all monies received by the organisation for example, other grants/donations and fundraising, earned income etc. If your organisation has not been operating for a full year, please state your income to date.

£

£
Unrestricted reserves (or savings) are funds held for the general purposes of the organisation. This figure should not include any restricted reserves that are held for a particular purpose or project.

Please provide details of the organisation's bank account

Having a single person authorising payments is a fraud risk. This can be mitigated by appropriate internal controls. Please outline these and attach any documents that provide more detail of these.
If NCF have previously agreed that your controls are adequate please enter "NCF agreement previously given"

Does your project have an overall project name? If so, please enter it here.

If your project has fixed start and end dates enter these here. Check the Fund website to ensure these fit with the grant decision date. If you project is ongoing, you should enter the start and finish dates of the funding period. Unless explicitly stated on the fund page, all grants are for 1 year only.

At local level, where do the people you aim to benefit with your project come from?

Please provide postcodes to represent where you will deliver activities or where most of your beneficiaries reside.

If there are multiple places, click add another location to enter as many as you need.

If it is too difficult to distinguish, please provide the postcode of your organisation or the venue from which you deliver these activities.

Describe the activities that will take place and what the grant will be spent on - for example, if you are running workshops or similar, please tell us the number and length of sessions, how often and where they will be held. You will be asked to provide a budget showing the specific costs for your project later.

We are interested in hearing about local need rather than national statistics. If you have involved local people in planning your project, or have sought ideas and/or feedback on your plans, please tell us how you have done this and how it has helped to shape your project.

Refer to the Fund webpage and explain how this fits with the fund's aims.

Tell us what you think the next steps will be leading on from this project - it may be a one-off activity or purchase, or you might aim to continue or develop the activity after the grant is spent. If so, do you have any plans for how your group may do this? If the grant is for equipment or building work, tell us about its expected lifespan, how you will maintain it and how you plan to cover any associated costs.

We collect information that will show the benefits of your project, and what has changed in your community as a result of your work.

This section will help us to monitor your grant if your application is successful. The projects we fund can help local people in lots of different ways - a project to improve a village hall may mean more people come to use it, and more new groups start to use the hall which may increase activities for the community. Local people are less isolated as a result. These are the sorts of impacts we'd like to capture. Remember, we want to hear about the benefits to people, not just how you will spend your grant.

Think about how you might be able to show us the difference your grant has made - you are welcome to take photos of equipment in use, or make a short video of your activity. You may be able to gather feedback from people taking part, or report on increased user/visitor numbers. If you are doing more specific support work, you may be using established tools like the Outcomes Start - tell us what tools or systems you plan to use to measure progress.

Please estimate as accurately as you can - you can explain below how you have arrived at this figure.

We realise that knowing how many people will benefit can be difficult, so we need you to explain briefly how you have arrived at the beneficiary figure entered above - for example it could be from bookings, membership information, records of who uses the service, or questionnaires.
We know that a lot of community activities are open to all but we would like you to think about who specifically will be involved in your project - this might be based on the number of places available or take up of a previous similar project. Please don't just enter the number of people who live in your area, unless you feel that is truly the likely level of involvement.

Please select the communities you are aiming to work with in your project - only select a category if 75% or more of the people you are working with fall into that category. Please tick as many as apply.

This list is not exhaustive of all communities but highlights groups of people who are more likely to experience inequalities.

We know not all your projects will be working with people from one of these communities, so do not worry if this does not apply, just tick "Does not apply."
Communities that experience inequity as a result of their race or ethnic group which may be related to their national/geographical origin, skin colours, and other identities. Choose this level if your organisation works on racial justice or supports people from multiple Communities
